    Appointed by Governor Rick Perry in November 2001. Elected in November 2002, to fill an unexpired term and re-elected in November 2004, to a full six year term.

    • Panel member for over two thousand civil and criminal appeals and original proceedings for a ten-county jurisdiction
    • Author of hundreds of published opinions, covering a wide range of civil and criminal law topics, including issues of first impression and cases submitted for en banc review.

    Appointed in April 1999, by then-Governor George W. Bush to fill an unexpired term and elected in November 2000.

    • Disposed of over 5,000 cases in a three-year period.
